The Waterers

Arcadia High School has been set aside from the Kingdom of God. Many of us have spent countless hours praying for our school. Those who have been praying for the salvation of Arcadia High, have been faithful, and have been doing it out of the love of Christ. This past Saturday, Arcadia High students and alumni, along with students from other schools, people from all over Los Angeles, and some dedicated women of God who have been praying for our school and our city for over ten years now gathered to pray for the Spirit of God to come and invade our campus. We marched along the sidewalk around the school, praying and worshipping, pleading with the Lord to realease revival. An amazing time for sure, God is moving, it is evident, but this is the beginning. Now is where WE come in, OUR generation...

Romans 3:8
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will recieve his own reward according to his own labor.

Those people that have been praying for over ten years now are the planters. They have planted the seeds for revival to spring up in this land. WE, OUR GENERATION, RIGHT NOW, THE CHRISTIANS ON CAMPUS...we are the waterers. We are the ones who go to school here every day, and it's our job to pray, intercede, preach, do whatever the Lord tells you to do. God wants to move on our campus. The oppurtunity is here to see our campus saved, to see all of our campus turn to the Lord. We have to open our eyes in the Spirit. We have to believe in the miraculous, we have to be going to morning prayer if possible. We need to show people Jesus, through everything we do. We can't be afraid of what people say about us, or whether or not people will look at us differently. We just have to do what God calls us to do. Sure maybe we WILL get made fun of, but you will know the you were obedient to God, and that people saw the Lord because of that.

Romans 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

Paul refers to Adam's disobedience, he disobeyed God, and sin entered the world, making us all sinners. Paul then refers to Christ, He obeyed, and even though He knew He would have to die, He did it, out of love, and we were forgiven, and lifted out of sin. In the same way as Christ, we MUST obey the Lord. This verse scared me at first. But this is not a burden, it is a lifestyle. And it's one we have to live if we are going to see revival on our campus. Stay obedient to the Lord, in EVERYTHING YOU DO. Do this and we WILL see our campus saved. Believe it. It's time to water the seeds that have been sewn.
